How do I order?
Please read the following carefully regarding the process to submit an order on our website and the next steps. There are a few steps, but these steps are necessary due to the personalization that we offer:
1. Choose from one of our many designs. Click on any design to see the options for personalizing your vest. Sizing and our numerous logo options can be found on a scrolling menu at the left of the vest design.
Fill out the appropriate fields with how you would like your name to appear, right or left mount, etc.
2. If you are choosing a logo, or have a logo to add to your vest that is not in the selection offered, please type in your logo choice beginning with the first brand logo box. Also, please type in your preferred logo position. You can find the available positions in each product menu by simply scrolling.
Example: logo #2 in position 3.
If you are choosing a logo or artwork that is outside of our selection, please still fill out the brand positions. In the Notes field, please state that you are supplying a personal logo, or one provided to you.
Example: Personal logo emailed to you- ABC Company, Position 4.
If you have a logo or artwork that is not on the website, please email it along with permission from the owner of the logo/artwork to: firstname.lastname@example.org
and reference your order number. We will need the logo/artwork in vector format (ie; .ai, eps). A PNG or PDF may work. The quality of the logo has to be high resolution. If it is not usable, we will let you know.
3. Once you have ordered through checkout, we will review your order and contact you if we have any questions. We provide one mock-up of your order for approval, prior to production. Any design changes after submitting your order online and prior to being sent to production will incur an additional $18 design fee per change. Once an order has been submitted to production, no additional changes are allowed.
4. Once your design request is made, we will send a design mock-up within one (1) to four (4) business days. Our current lead times upon approval of the mock-up design is 4-6 weeks, but not guaranteed within this window.
We ship vests via USPS Priority Mail immediately after they have been produced.

We will establish a time for a 20 minute call or six email correspondence to discuss your order and design capabilities. A non-refundable $35 fee for the consultation will be charged.

What is the timeline of my order?
All of our Barepelt Vests and Barepelt Safe Socks are Made in the USA. Once your order is placed, you will receive a design proof for your approval within four business days. On orders with name personalization only, we will verify your design choice as well as the details of your order within one business day of your order being placed. Once verified by you, we will send to production. Due to the individual customization of our vests, please expect a 4-6 week lead-time on your order. Shipping is via USPS Priority Mail.

Can I upload my own logo?
Yes! Please email it direct to email@example.com. Permission has to be provided to Barepelt via email or in writing from the owner of the logo/mark. Barepelt can accept images in vector format such as .ai, eps, or svg file format. If you are not certain that you have the right file format, please email us.
We are not able to use JPEG files with any background or elements of the image that have to be removed. If you have a JPEG image that does not require any element of the image being removed, we are able to use it if it is high resolution with a minimum of the original image being at least one megabyte.
I have an idea for a vest that is not offered on your website.
Additional design fees will apply to all orders that are outside of our design options and/or offered logo positions on our website. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
What kind of logos can I add to my vest when ordering?
Barepelt licenses many official logos from numerous clay target shooting companies. These can be selected in the drop down choices when ordering. If a customer wishes to upload their own logos or brands, they must be approved by the company and or owner, in writing, prior to production. Care Instructions for Vest and Safe Sock
Your vest can be machine washed on cold water or hand washed in a sink. Hang or lay flat to dry.
With performance based polyester, it is best to not rest your stock against your vest or have anything rub against your vest as it can cause pilling.
